Facilities
Hoddesdon Bowls Club (Rosehill) is in an easy to reach area, at its current location since 1936. Many of our members come here from Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, and Nazeing. We also have members who come from further afield from Cheshunt, Enfield, Hertford, Ware, Stanstead Abbotts and Bishops Stortford who find it worth travelling that extra distance to join in our friendly atmosphere.
As a private members club with excellent facilities, Hoddesdon Bowls Club (Rosehill) enables members of all abilities to enjoy a wide range of recreational and/or competitive lawn bowls activities throughout the summer season, during April to September. In addition, our members enjoy a wide variety of other recreational and social activities throughout the whole year.

Our club was honoured to host the East Herts v St. Albans event, with ladies participating from clubs from across East Herts. Great weather, a great fun game, and a lovely meal was enjoyed by all.
An end of Season Bowlathon played in September saw club members playing up to 100 ends of bowls each in a bid to raise funds for a local charity, Broxbourne Organisation for the Disabled (BOD). The clubhouse was full to capcity with a great time had by all at the club's Christmas Carol evening. This was a jolly event with a mini quiz, lots of nibbles, a few glasses of wine, singing and much laughter throughout!
Club final matches were played in fine weather to the enjoyment of the players and spectators.
The club's new pergola construction is well underway following planning permission being granted. Completion is anticipated before the start of the new outdoor season. This will create a superb area for members to enjoy a drink in the fresh air.
The club house was full with so many members and other guests joining Ray to celebrate his special day. There was singing, dancing and merriment into the early hours. A wonderful evening was had by all.
